As the Chinese Environmental Protection Department do more and more measures and policies to limit chemical production pollution 

and the Chinese Safety Inspection Department is pressing on chemical production safety, most of Chinese Chemical producers 

shut down or work off and on at present.

One of affected heavily is Calcium Formate.

Last year, more than 20factories producing calcium acid or calcium formate.However, only Luxi Chem Company,

BSF are producing calcium acid and less than 5 factories are manufacturing calcium formate. So the supply is in shortage.

Because only 2 factories offer calcium acid, the price for calcium acid increased too much.

And the price for Calcium Formate grows up from around RMB3000 per ton to around RMB11000 per ton.
